Tell Orderkraft which of your locations actually builds things.
Last updated
Not every Shopify location does the same job. Some hold stock and fulfill orders. Others are where made-to-order items actually get built. Marking a location as a production location tells Orderkraft which is which.
That distinction is what makes split shipments and the fulfillment constraint work correctly. Orderkraft needs to know where production happens to hold the right items back until it’s done.
Questions
- What's the difference between a production location and a regular one?
- A production location is where made-to-order items get built. A regular location can still stock and fulfill; it just isn't where manufacturing happens.
