What counts as a manufacturing order?
A manufacturing order is created for each made-to-order line item that gets sold. Stocked products you ship from inventory don't create manufacturing orders, so they don't count toward your per-order fee.

If you're just starting out, Starter is the right call. The 14-day trial costs nothing, and you can switch up whenever the volume gets there.
Once you're past a few hundred manufacturing orders a month, Growth's lower per-order rate pays for the upgrade.

Questions about how it's billed.
How does the 14-day free trial work?
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You can use every Orderkraft feature during the trial, and you're not charged anything, including per-order fees. If you uninstall before the trial ends, you're never billed.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can change plans any time from inside the app. The new plan takes effect on your next billing cycle, so you're not double-charged.
Is there a monthly cap on charges?
Yes. Every plan has a known monthly maximum, so your bill can't run away from you. Orderkraft warns you when you're getting close to the cap. If you do reach it, the app pauses on your store until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade.
How am I billed?
Charges run through Shopify on your normal app-billing date. Recurring base fees and usage-based per-order fees are billed every 30 days, in USD.
How do I cancel?
Uninstall Orderkraft from your Shopify admin. Recurring charges stop at the end of your current billing cycle. If you're still in the trial, you're not charged at all.
Why is there a per-order fee?
Because we do real work on every manufacturing order: the materials math, the queue placement, the fulfillment release. Pricing usage that way keeps the base fee low for brands just starting out, and keeps the per-order rate small for brands with high volume.
