The plan

Everything

$29 /month

Plus $0.75 per manufacturing order, stepping down to $0.12 at volume.

One plan. Every feature. A published rate card you can do the maths on yourself.

14-day free trial. No charge during the trial, usage included.

What's included

  • Bills of materials, multi-level assemblies, raw materials and components
  • Manufacturing orders, production queue, holds and history
  • Lead times on the product page, kept in sync with the floor
  • Split shipments, so stocked items ship without waiting on production
  • Shopify Flow triggers, customer-account production status
  • Every production location, every user, no seat charges

There is no second plan. Nothing here is an add-on.

Billed in USD through Shopify every 30 days. Usage is charged when a manufacturing order completes.

The rate card

Graduated, like tax brackets.

Crossing a threshold only changes the rate on the manufacturing orders above it. It never re-prices the ones below. The effective rate falls as you produce more, and it never jumps.

Graduated usage rates per manufacturing order per month
Manufacturing orders per month Rate each
Base fee, every account $29/month
1 – 200 $0.75
201 – 1,000 $0.55
1,001 – 3,000 $0.40
3,001 – 10,000 $0.22
10,001 and up $0.12

Worked through: at 1,000 manufacturing orders in a month you pay $29 base, the first 200 orders at $0.75, and the next 800 at $0.55. That is $619 for the month.

Calculator

Put your volume in.

How many manufacturing orders do you expect to complete in a month? The breakdown below is the whole bill.

Count production jobs, not Shopify orders. One order with 50 engraved recipients is 50.

Your estimated monthly bill, broken down by rate band
Line Orders Amount
Base fee $29
1 – 200 at $0.75 200 $150
201 – 1,000 at $0.55 300 $165

Your monthly bill

$344

That works out at $0.69 per manufacturing order.

An estimate from the published rate card, in USD. Shopify does the billing arithmetic itself, on the same brackets.

A few worked out
Example monthly bills at different volumes
Manufacturing orders Monthly bill Per order
50 $66.50 $1.33
200 $179 $0.90
1,000 $619 $0.62
3,000 $1,419 $0.47
10,000 $2,959 $0.30
The unit

What counts as a manufacturing order.

A manufacturing order is one thing being built. Orderkraft creates one for each made-to-order line item on a Shopify order, and a line item for five identical chairs creates five manufacturing orders.

The unit is the production job, not the Shopify order. Those two numbers diverge most on gifting. One Shopify order with 50 engraved recipients creates 50 manufacturing orders, and bills as 50. That is fifty separate pieces of production to coordinate, so that is fifty on the invoice.

We would rather you read that here than find it on a bill. If most of your volume is personalised gifting, put your real job count into the calculator above, not your order count.

When it's charged

Billed when production completes.

Usage is charged the moment a manufacturing order reaches completed. Not when the order lands, not when production starts. You pay for production you actually finish.

Cancelled production

Never charged.

A manufacturing order you cancel costs nothing, whatever stage it reached. Refunds, changes of mind, and jobs you decide not to build don't appear on the bill.

Stocked items

Not a manufacturing order.

Products that ship from inventory never create a manufacturing order, so a mixed catalog only ever bills on the made-to-order half of it.

Building to stock

Free to plan.

Production you run to replenish stock, with no sales order behind it, isn't billed either. Plan as much of it as you like.

Pricing FAQ

Questions about how it's billed.

What counts as a manufacturing order?

One manufacturing order is one thing being built. Orderkraft creates one for each made-to-order line item in a Shopify order, and a line item for five identical chairs creates five. So a Shopify order with 50 engraved recipients creates 50 manufacturing orders and bills as 50. The unit is the production job, not the Shopify order, and the two diverge most on corporate gifting.

When is usage charged?

When a manufacturing order reaches completed. If you cancel production, that manufacturing order is never charged. Stocked products that ship from inventory never create a manufacturing order in the first place, so they never appear on your bill. You pay for production you actually finish.

How does the graduated rate work?

Like tax brackets. Crossing a threshold only changes the rate on the manufacturing orders above it, never the whole month. At 1,000 manufacturing orders the first 200 are still charged at $0.75 and the next 800 at $0.55. Your effective rate per order falls as you produce more, and it never jumps.

Is anything an add-on?

No. There is one plan, and every feature is in it. No modules to unlock, no support tiers, no per-user charge, no charge for extra production locations. If it exists in Orderkraft, you have it.

How does the 14-day free trial work?

The trial runs 14 days from the day you subscribe. You get every feature, and you are charged nothing during it, usage included. If you uninstall before the trial ends, you are never billed.

How am I billed?

Through Shopify, on your normal app-billing date. The base fee and the usage fee are billed together every 30 days, in USD. The usage fee is calculated by Shopify from the manufacturing orders Orderkraft reports as completed.

How do I cancel?

Uninstall Orderkraft from your Shopify admin. The recurring charge stops at the end of the current billing period. If you are still in the trial, you are not charged at all.

Why charge per manufacturing order?

Because that is where the work is. Every manufacturing order means resolving a bill of materials, reserving components, placing the job in a queue, and releasing fulfillment when it is done. Charging for that instead of for seats or feature modules keeps the base fee at $29 for a brand producing a handful a month.
